Avocet Precision Metals (APM)

APM are a supplier of bespoke raw materials for use in manufacturing. The flagship of the Avocet Materials Group, the company was established in 1996 by Graham Hall and continues to be owned and operated by major shareholders the Hall family. The family has plenty of heritage in steel, Great Great Grandfather Bill worked the hot mill at John Summers, Great Grandfather Stan launched Zintec for the British Steel Corporation and Grandfather Graham Hall had 20 years experience as a senior manager in stockholding before establishing the group of companies.

Kieren, the fourth generation, is the current CEO and is growing the business still utilising the same mantra as established 25 years ago- right first time. There is iron in the soul of Avocet Steel. Today, Avocet Precision Metals is primarily a sales and distribution business focused on precision semi finished raw materials, made to exact customer specification.

The team encompasses skilled engineers, material scientists, quality personnel and of course our signature sales team who work with our clients to understand and meet their needs.

Avocet Research Centre (ARC)

ARC provide R&D and product development services for some of the worlds largest brands. Having a core focus area in energy storage the team at ARC take a targeted stage-gate approach to R&D, defining distinct work packages that are designed to hit project goals and prove concepts early.

Regular collaborative check-points ensures full control of project goals and approach for our clients. ARC consists of a dedicated R&D team that oversees the planning, execution, and administration of research and development activities, transforming ideas into action.
